CAPPENMOF Bilateral Project

CAPPENMOF is a bilateral project between TUBITAK (Turkey) and ARRS (Slovenia) aimed at predicting the activity and toxicity of fullerene derivatives. Our main focus is the prediction of aquatic toxicity of FDs. Our team has developed QSAR models to predict the toxicity/activity/solubility of FDs without conducting any experiments. We rely on 'in silico' investigations to shed light on the activity of FDs and protect the environment.

About Us

In this project, we are dedicated to exploring the field of fullerene derivatives. Our team of experts works tirelessly to develop innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by the environment. We work on a wide range of research, from aquatic toxicity to solubility of fullerenes, as well as possible therapeutic applications of fullerenes. Our goal is to provide researchers with the most accurate and reliable information.

How fullerene derivatives act on therapeutically important targets
associated with diabetic diseases

This study discusses fullerene derivatives (FDs), nano-sized organic compounds with possible application as pharmaceuticals. The research focuses on their potential as antidiabetic agents by studying their inhibitory effects on therapeutic targets. Protein biomolecules are analyzed using machine learning and cheminformatics methods, aiming to predict binding activity. The findings offer insights into FDs' potential medical use, ranking them based on inhibitory activity and toxicity, providing valuable information for future development.
